Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program
Step into a leadership role and experience the best of camp life!
Designed for teens entering grades 10-12 and new high school graduates, this summer program is the perfect opportunity to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and gain hands-on experience as a mentor for younger campers (grades 1–6).
What to Expect:
Begin with two days of bonding and Camp Counselor Training 101 before younger campers arrive. Get to know Eagle Bluff, connect with fellow CITs, and prepare for your role as a supportive group co-leader.
Once camp begins, you’ll help guide campers through an exciting lineup of activities while cheering them on, leading games, and being a positive role model.
Choose Your Adventure:
CITs can choose assist with one of the following camps:
- Survival Camp – Help young explorers learn essential outdoor survival skills.
- Jr. Adventurers Camp – Perfect for first-time campers exploring the outdoors.

Just 2 hours southeast of the Twin Cities, 3 hours from Madison, and 3.5 hours from Des Moines, Eagle Bluff is conveniently located for campers from all over Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and northern Illinois.
