Eagle Bluff 2021 Camps

Becoming an Outdoors Family Weekend

Type:Overnight camp
Ages:For families! All ages welcome, but activities led for children and family members ages 5+
Dates:June 18 – 20
Cost:$150 per participant

Early Check-in on Friday: 5-8pm | Check-in on Saturday: 8:00am | Check-out on Sunday: 12:30pm

Does your family want to spend time in the outdoors? Maybe try something adventurous? Learn a new skill? Join our weekend family camp, where we focus on providing families with the opportunity to try a variety of outdoor recreational activities. Connect with family members in the great outdoors this summer!

Class sessions range from:

  • Rock climbing
  • Pond Exploration
  • High Ropes Courses
  • Archery
  • and more!

Lodging in our dorm, meals in our dining hall, instruction from our accredited staff, and quality equipment are all provided.

Friday:
5-8pm: Optional Check-in and Stay Friday night, Saturday Continental Breakfast provided (Additional $15 per person)

Saturday:
7:45am: Continental Breakfast
8:00-8:30am: Check-in
8:45am-9:20am: Welcome
9:30am-11:45am: Free Choice Session (Move about with your family freely)

  • Activity options are: Archery, Rock Climbing, Pond Exploration, Geocaching

12:00pm: Lunch
1:00-4:00pm: Scheduled Activity #1 (Requested during registration)
5:10pm: Dinner
6:15-9:30pm: Evening Activities

  • 6:15-7:15
    • 1 Hour Live-Animal Program
    • Nature Craft (Self Led)
    • Do your own thing! (E.g. hike, swim)
  • 7:15-8:30
    • Campfire w/ S’mores
  • 8:30-9:30
    • Night Hike

10:00pm-7:00am: Quiet Hours

Sunday:
7:40am: Breakfast
8:30-11:30am: Scheduled Activity #2 (Requested during registration)
11:30am-12:30pm: Gift Shop Open
11:50am: Lunch
12:30pm: Departure


We’re located in the beautiful Bluff Country of Lanesboro, Minnesota

Just 2 hours southeast of the Twin Cities, 3 hours from Madison, and 3.5 hours from Des Moines, Eagle Bluff is conveniently located for campers from all over Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and northern Illinois.
