LANESBORO, MN — In the Driftless region, a major restoration effort is underway. Engineers are working to restore the Root River to its original course after years of erosion caused by an outdated dam. The project aims to undo decades of damage and enhance the local ecosystem. Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center is at the center of the project.
