LANESBORO, MN — Join us in celebrating Mary Junko-Isle, Eagle Bluff’s Wildlife and Curriculum Coordinator, for her recent feature in the Winona Post! The February 11th article highlights Mary’s important work in bringing nature-based therapy to youth in southeast Minnesota.
As one of 11 guides trained through the Healing Forest project by Project Get Outdoors (Project GO), Mary completed a rigorous six-month training program, with a culminating immersion at Eagle Bluff in April 2024. Now certified, she, along with her fellow guides, is working with local organizations to incorporate forest therapy into youth services for those affected by trauma.
