Forkhorn 1 teaches campers entering grades 6-8 safe hunting techniques, along with skills in canoeing, archery, and navigation. With the option to earn Firearms Safety and Bowhunter Certifications, this camp combines outdoor adventure with valuable education.

IMPORTANT: Please complete the Official Minnesota Hunter Safety Course via the link below, and print off and bring the voucher at the end that says the course was completed to camp. You will also fill out the Firearm Safety Registration form during check-in. For this form, you will need to provide the camper’s full legal name and signature.

Forkhorn 1 is the perfect camp for young hunters looking to develop essential skills in a safe, supportive environment. Campers will learn safe hunting techniques while improving their canoeing, archery, and navigation skills. They also have the option to earn their Minnesota Firearms Safety Certification and Bowhunter Certification. Split by skill level, this camp offers a fun, immersive experience focused on safety and outdoor adventure, all while enjoying Eagle Bluff’s signature activities.

Note: Any MDHA-sponsored camper is required to complete their FAS Certification through their camp experience.
