Forkhorn 1 is designed for campers entering grades 6–8 who are interested in hunting, wildlife, and outdoor skills. In a safe, supportive setting, campers learn responsible hunting practices, archery, and navigation while building confidence and independence.
With the opportunity to earn their Minnesota Firearms Safety Certification and Bowhunter Certification, this camp blends outdoor adventure with meaningful skill-building.

Certification Requirements:
To complete certification(s), campers must finish the online Minnesota Hunter Safety Course before camp and bring their completion voucher. A Firearm Safety Registration form will be completed at check-in.

At Eagle Bluff, your camper is cared for by a team of passionate, highly trained educators who bring both expertise and energy to every day of camp. Each of our summer camp leaders has spent the past year working with school groups through Eagle Bluff’s Outdoor Education Fellowship program—building real experience in guiding, teaching, and supporting young learners in the outdoors.
24/7 Supervision
Campers are supervised throughout the day during all activities. At night, an on-duty staff member stays in a clearly marked room within the same dorm area, ensuring support is always nearby if needed.
Trained for Safety
All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR/AED and are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where campers can confidently try new things and grow.
