Sprouts Preschool Camp

Designed for curious preschoolers, Sprouts Day Camp is a fun summer camp where learning happens through play, exploration, and discovery outdoors. Children spend their days outdoors, guided by experienced educators. Each day includes hands-on activities like exploring the woods and prairie, discovering pond life, and engaging in imaginative outdoor play. All experiences take place in a safe, supportive environment.

Parents are welcome to attend alongside their preschoolers—please indicate your interest during registration.

Dates: July 20–23, 2026

Drop-off: 8:45–9:00 AM (daily)
Pick-up: 12:00–12:15 PM (daily)

Cost: $25 per day

At Eagle Bluff, your camper is cared for by a team of passionate, highly trained educators who bring both expertise and energy to every day of camp. Each of our summer camp leaders has spent the past year working with school groups through Eagle Bluff’s Outdoor Education Fellowship program—building real experience in guiding, teaching, and supporting young learners in the outdoors.

24/7 Supervision
Campers are supervised throughout the day during all activities. At night, an on-duty staff member stays in a clearly marked room within the same dorm area, ensuring support is always nearby if needed.

Trained for Safety
All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR/AED and are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where campers can confidently try new things and grow.

Frequently Asked Questions

You’ll receive a packing list about one month before camp.

You can email your camper at campers2024@eaglebluffmn.org (include their name and camp in the subject line). Campers cannot reply. We do not recommend sending mail, as it may not arrive in time.

Yes. You can list roommate preferences during registration, and we will do our best to place campers together. Campers without a preference will be placed with others of a similar age.

We can accommodate most dietary needs, including allergies and vegetarian preferences. Please list all dietary information in your camper’s CampDoc health profile. Our campus is peanut-free.

No. All registration and payments are completed through CampDoc.

Youth Overnight & Day Camps:

  • Cancel 15+ days before camp: Full refund minus deposit
  • Cancel less than 15 days before: No refund
  • Leaving early: No refund
  • Camp canceled by Eagle Bluff: Prorated credit issued

Adult Camp & Family Camp:

  • Cancel 15+ days before: Full refund minus 10% fee
  • Cancel less than 15 days before: No refund

All staff maintain current First Aid and CPR certification. Minor injuries are treated onsite, and parents are contacted immediately if additional medical care is needed.

If necessary, campers may be transported to a clinic in Preston or to St. Mary’s Emergency Room in Rochester. Emergency services, including ambulance and helicopter transport, are available.

No. Instead, families can add gift shop funds through CampDoc. Campers will visit the shop once to browse items like apparel, stuffed animals, and souvenirs. Any remaining balance will be returned after camp.

No. All meals and snacks are provided. Outside food is not allowed (except for medical needs) to prevent allergy risks.

It depends on the camp:

  • Youth overnight campers: Yes
  • Day campers (Grades 4+): Yes
  • Preschool – Grade 3 day campers: No ropes course, but they will participate in rock climbing
  • Family campers: Optional (must indicate preference)
  • Adult summer campers: Optional (must indicate preference)

Yes, depending on the camp. Swimming takes place in the Root River. All campers wear life jackets, and activities are closely supervised by trained staff.

No. Campers should leave phones at home. Phones are only used in emergencies, with staff assistance.

Please do not send electronics (tablets, smartwatches, gaming devices, etc.). They take away from the camp experience, and we cannot guarantee their safety.
